Hi. My name is Eric and I'm the Tournament Organizer for Magic at Zulus games. I'm here to talk to the Magic community about the Magic community. I hope you're well and, during Thanksgiving week, I want thank you for being the key part of what makes Magic so awesome. Hopefully you've had the chance to visit Zulu's and play a few games, or purchase a special pack or two. If not, let this serve as a cordial invitation...
First, the state of Magic is strong! On any day of the week and almost any hour that we're open you'll find local students and fans, kids and tournament aces playing Commander. Driven largely by welcoming smiles and a huge diversity of play styles, this community fills the store on commander night (Thursday evenings) with 60-80 players. If you're looking for more commander play, our next big event is the Lost Caverns of Ixalan Commander Party, a free all-day celebration of all things commander. (Link to free tickets).
If you prefer to play 1 vs 1 Magic you hopefully jumped in on one of our competitive events in the past month. Here's our Wilds of Eldraine store Champion (and frequent Tuesday cube drafter), Keldon (on right).

If you've never played in a Regional Championship Qualifier, they are fun and worth checking out. Heads up: our next big event will be the Lost Caverns of Ixalan Standard store championships on 10 December. This marks the return of paper standard after a 2 year hiatus! To get in practice and knock the dust off our standard decks, we're running Standard alongside limited FNM each Friday at 7pm.

Today I'm fresh from being beaten by Timey Wimey (again!) at the kitchen commander table. I confess that I'm looking at ways to improve the other three Dr Who commander decks to give them a better chance at beating the 10th doctor and his suspend + timey-wimey shenanigans.
